So I went to Fabricville, ready to buy material and confront the real one.
Mistake number one: I brought my husband, daddy-to-be, with me.
So you are wondering why this is a mistake? Let me tell you why... as mommies, and woman and girls, we have style and taste and vision and know what we want. When you mix a man into this equation, and not any man, your husband, your baby’s daddy, you apparently have to take into consideration his opinion... on choice of fabric?!
Ricardo insisted that the 'dancing cow in their boxer' fabric was hilarious and a must in the baby’s life. He even waited himself in line to have it cut and matched other colour fabric as well as paid for it. He was so excited and so happy, so.... I made the daddy designed quilt!
Sadly, even though this quilt is thicker and better sewn and has less mistakes, it has dancing cows on it... but his face every time he sees it... let’s just say, maybe the cow quilt can grow on me!

I guess this is what it means growing old together, not that you or Ricardo are old but most definite the growing together part, the giving, the sharing and receiving. Keep it up you are a cute couple with many many years still ahead of you of sharing and discovering together as a couple. Have fun the best is still to come.
